Does anyone know if my work permit expired less than 90 days, can I still apply open work permit with bc pnp support letter? Do I apply for open work permit and restoration at the same time?

I'm in the same situation, I received yesterday the pnp support letter via email but I haven't received the BC PNP papers yet. My consultant told me that I'm supposed to wait for the bc pnp certificate in order to go to the border and ask for a renewed work permit. the previous one has expired on september 25th. For what I know you need 150$, your passport, your bc pnp docs and the support letter and you can apply directly at the border for a new permit

I'll get a work permit linked to my current employer, my wife an open work permit of the same length

May I just ask all of you, that have already been notified :have you all been notified by email about the decision that has been made? The PNP office, and they were not very friendly, told me twice that they do not send out any emails, that I just need to wait for a letter from them.
