File No, SO-14-27**(Mid) - At the time i was applied the process time was 4 months now its 8 to 9 Months
Decision Made - Still Waiting?

Right now i am on Implied Status my Workpermit was expired a month ago

As per timeline of certain applicants

What i come across
March 27 - SO-14-16**
April 10 - SO-14-19**
April 22 - SO-14-20**
April 28 - SO-14-23**
April 30 - SO-14-24**
May 07 - SO-14-24**
May 07 - SO-14-25**
May 21 - SO-14-27**
May 23 - SO-14-28**
May 26 - SO-14-29**
May 27 - SO-14-29**
June 03 - SO-14-32**
September 10 - SO-14-56**

Per month they process around 425 to 450 applications, they have 17 staff who work on skilled immigration streams.

They were processed last year application till April and on May they started this year's application.

So i believe those who have file no above 3500 will be process next year.

I called yesterday to BC PNP they said they are working on April file no now and i think currently they are working on SO-14-22** file no

The process time was extends just because Alberta, because its very hard to get PNP in Alberta so everybody move to BC but i believe when this guys apply for BC PNP the process time will change 9 month to 18 months like Alberta.

If you guys get any update regarding BC PNP, please post on this forum.

Today, I sent e-mail to ask for my progress, they said that the decision has been made and waited for the mail.


Do you guys think that I have approved by PNP???

Just confirm your file no was SO-14-22**, because those who applied on April 30, 2014 have file no SO-14-24**, so how come your file SO-14-22** however you applied on May 2, 2014, is that typing error

April 30 goes from low 2300 to low 2400 (lot of request at the end of the month)...however devinma might have received a very high 2200 (don't know how, but still possible)

Not a type in Error. I go to the office to submit my application directly, not by mail! My file number is 229X.

@lucadi: what the date written in your AOR email for reciving you file. might be u wrote date of submission, but what date of receivng file in bc pnp office.

Received on april 30th, acknowledge on June 3rd, number 232x... No typo... In order not to create duplicates they probably reserved a burst of numbers to each office... And devinma has been luckier to pick that one... It should be just a matter of a day or two... The real issue is that my WP has already expired and I have to wait the mail in order to go to the border and renew it... And meanwhile I'm not working...

i think your file will be reveiw on Friday or coming Monday, you are very close to devinma, just 20 files difference.

Once you get approval please update on the forum so we come to know.

LucaDI, did you apply for Work Permit Extentation?

Because my work permit expire a month ago and right now i am on implied status, will probably get confirmation on mid of this month, then i will be move on restoration so then i have 90 days to take a decision.

I want some help please, Hope all seniors can answer,

I have job offer full time permanent position,

My boss wrote on job letter he will work minimum 36hrs/ week but i am working 40 hours/week.. Will they ask me why your boss wrote you will work 36 hrs and why u are working 40 hrs a week.. So 36 hrs will be consider as full time worker or it should be 40 hrs to be full time.
