BC PNP Approval after work permit expired

Hello Everyone,
Just like I've mentioned in the title, my work permit and LMO has expired, I've applied for extension (to gain some extra time). Now, few days I've received an email saying that extensions has been declined and I've got 90 days to get everything sorted out. But just today I've received my PNP nomination package.
Question is - can I simply drive to the Canada/US boarder, flagpole and pay for everything (new work permit, restoration, etc.) while re-entering Canada, or there's another drill to follow, that I'm not aware of?

why dont you drive to the boarder and try if that works then u dont have to wait way long sending the documents to cic and getting workpermit back will take more then month.if the boarder cant solve the problem then u can go through sending it to cic.

You can go to the border, just make sure you bring your work permit support letter.

When did you submit your PNP application btw?

don't go to border if you are not belonged to the visa exempt country because right now you are out of status, i will suggest you to get the advise form any expert/consultant, otherwise you will put your self in trouble.

mirko.alilovic they've received my application on 28th may, case no. 302*, NOC category B
aashu1986 I think that regardless which country I'm from, even if i go to the boarder adn get turned around, I'm still on Canadian soil, so technically i don't think I can get in trouble, especially that many people from visa exempt countries have been going to peace arch to flag pole multiple times before, but thank you anyways

"Restoration of status cannot be granted at the POE. Individuals who have failed to comply with the conditions imposed under R185 need to apply in Canada for restoration of their status. If they leave Canada, they will be deemed to be seeking a new entry on their return."
The question is - what does a "new entry" mean?

Hi there. My boyfriend is in the same situation. Actually we sent in his "Restoration of Status as a Visitor" but it is taking forever and in the meantime his PNP has come through. We are wondering if we can just go to the border and flagpole anyways. Just wondering if you were able to do this? Thanks very much!
