I am pgwp holder graduate in BC and i staying two year more. I have full time job offer in BC.my question is does the job offer need to be an lmo? It's just a normal job offer from an employer in BC.please help me

I'm mid-way through the CIC profile for lmia exempt job offer (for interim work permit) so happy to help anyone in the same situation.

I received great news last week - Got my provincial nomination! Wahoo!!

Received my WP letter of support the next day after accepting nomination in My CIC - just need somehow to get to the border to extend it now!! Ozlis, how long did it take you to receive your ITA, so that you could proceed with the next step of your federal application?

I got my ITA two days after accepting the nomination and the 600 points.

The online job offer thing through the portal to be able to go to the border and get your PNP supported work permit took 30 minutes. Very glitchy portal, had to re-enter stuff a few times.

Wow. Good for everyone. I think I am pretty much the only one left in July who hasn't heard back. When I call or email they keep saying it's with an advisor. I have lost hope now. I applied july 30th

Sarah submitted on the 20th of July and only got approval last week.

Until it is rejected you gotta stay positive. Waiting sucks.

I applied 20th of July, and no final decision made as of yet.
They called me back yesterday after leaving a voicemail and all they said was "your application is with an advisor".
Quite hopeful to hear back soon, but until then, all we can do is wait...

My original work permit had expired. I'm actually on implied status until I get to the border as I reapplied before before mine had expired. If yours hasn't expired, that may be why? Hang in there!

Was that on January 6th that you received your ITA? What did you have to do after that?

Ya Jan 6th.

Book your medicals as soon as you can, depending on where you are there might be a limited number of doctors and appointments available. Post ITA you fill in the online application and provide all the backup documents.

Nope Job offer don't have to be LIMA (LMO closed) .... if you have LIMA you will directly get 600 points in cic's Express Entry then you don't have to apply under PNP process...If you have LIMA make profile on cic's website and fill that you have LIMA you will be awarded with 600 extra points and if you met all other requirements of the program which you will apply under .. you will have enough points to get ITA in next draw...

If you have normal Job letter from an employer then you have to wait until BC PNP reopen for 2016.... unless you fall under the following categories:

Health Care Professional - Skills Immigration
Health Care Professional - Express Entry BC
Northeast Pilot Project

i have received BC PN nomination couple of days ago, but still don't have valid WP, which was expired on 11th sept.2015, then i was on implied status. Do you think so its safe for me to go on border to get work permit, as i don't have valid status?

I applied for BC PNP EE, I emailed them couple days ago and been told that the decision is recently made, correspondence will be sent very shortly.

Do you have any idea it is approved or refused? why don't just simply tell me the result? How they send out the result (by post or email)?
