Hello everyone,

I am new to the forum and have a couple of questions.

I applied to permanent residency under BC PNP category and my application was approved in February, 2012 and sent to the visa office in March, 2012. I haven't received a medical examination request yet although I expected that I would have received it by October 2012. My application status still appears as "Application Received".

Is there anyone who applied to permanent residency under BC PNP category with a similar timeline to mine?

Is there anyone who sent application to the visa office in Ankara? How long did it take your application status to turn to "In Process" ?

I also wonder if I can submit another application under Canadian Experience Class without withdrawing my BC PNP Application?

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Thank you all!

I don't think that you need to stay a particular time in BC to apply for Permanent Residency. If you are planning to apply under BC PNP Program, you may want to look into different categories and see which one you would fit it. If you will graduate from a Canadian university, then you would most likely fit in International Graduates categories. However, there are also pilot projects which sometimes take lesser time. So you may want to consider pilot projects as well. If you proceed with International Graduates Category, all you will need is a job offer from a Canadian company, which is basically a sponsorship. Not all employers would be willing to sponsor you even though the number of documentations they need to provide is much less that what they think. So, you will need to convince your employer to sponsor you.
Hope this helps.

By the way, when I saw that you replied my post I thought that you would respond to my question regarding the visa office in Ankara. If you reply to the posts relevant to your questions, you will most likely receive a quicker response.
