Did anyone else got an email notification from CIC saying "your application has been updated, bla bla bla" but there was nothing there (again)?
Jroockley? Aidin?

Could you guys please give a copy of recommendation letter and job offer format to apply for bc express entry
It is so personal that it would be hard to follow a pattern to be honest.
What's your working situation?

I got to work as an housekeeping supervisor at BC, my employer has no idea how to write am this letters for me, I went to google found couple templates, is the letter should be 100% professional or simple one is fine?
Do I reall have to wait to finish my probation period I order to apply through bc exp entry?
How much the lawyers charging to do pnp application ?

Wait for you guys answers... Thanks in advance!
Gotcha!
Here are the things my lawyer asked me/my employer to have in the recommendation letter:

How long have I been with the company.
Why did they choose me over the other candidates?
What was the recruiting process like? How ppl applied? What channels were used to advertise the job? Why no Canadians were a good fit?
What do I have that they dont? Special skill set?
Why do they need me to stay at the company? Economical impact?
How have I proven to be a huge asset to the company?

Answer those questions in your letter.
YES, it must be formal and start like:
"Dear BC Pronvicial Nominee Program... Google Inc. would like to nominate Cohen for the the BC PNP bla bla bla"

My lawyer is charging $5,000 but he is one the the priciest in town (Dennis McCrae and associates)
If you can, I would highly recommedn to at least get a lawyer to review your application once it is done - that would likely cost you about $1,500.

Hope this helps!

that is for candidates who are not currently working in this company. if you are working in the same company currently, you do not need to provide the advertising or why do not hire Canadians first.

hahah "ask my GF"
6:03pm here stating they got it on Feb 19th!

Autobat applied as the regular PNP, jroockley - not Express Entry like you me and Aidin. His is gonna take a while.
You will DEFF have it before April 26th, don't worry.

And yes, you can work under implied status.
My work permit expires in 4 days wooohooo.
I got my AOR on Sunday too at 6:05pm, received feb 18th..

Cohenlandherr - your work permit expires, what are you doing then? Extending your permit? Or change to visitor? I'm wondering what to do, I only have a few weeks left on mine.
Thanks,

B

So I applied to extend my work visa. I can remain working under the same employer while I wait for a decision on that work visa - under "Implied Status"
And even though it will 100% come refused (my work visa is non-renewable) it will take about 3 months for a response. And by that time, my PNP will likely come thru and then I can apply for a work visa with the support letter from BC PNP that will then certainly get my work visa extension approved.

Got it?

I think he is concerned that you're on a work holiday Visa, because he believes there are strong arguments about the implied status not applying for people with that type of visa..
But you're on a PGWP aren't you?
You're fine.

Sorry my phone auto corrects to weird things. I meant huge arguments. I'm on that visa now and struggling to fund a way other than visitor to stay.

All got it! I am on a Post-Graduation Work Permit tho - so it is different than yours.
