Just an update:
My Express Entry BC PNP (Skilled Worker) application was received on February 19th.
Exactly 2 weeks ago today.
I have NOT received my AOR yet.
I will keep everyone updated.

My bc pnp was recieved on the 18th Feb. Under the EE no word yet. Hoping for early next week. Will keep you informed. Visa expires 26th April. Anyone know if we can get a bwop visa or extend long enough to complete the whole process. Or will I be going home?

If you have a work permit till April 26th, you will very likely get nominated before then and can easily get a support letter from PNP to extend your work permit.
My Post-Graduation Work Permit expires on March 20th. I can remain in the country under Implied Status and continue to work as long as I file an "Extension for my Work Permit" before the 20th.

Today I got an email from MyCIC saying:
Your application(E000XXXXXX) has been updated.
Your application has been updated. Please sign in to your MyCIC account and check your application status and messages for more information...
....
I logged in and everything is the same.. Very strange. Has any of you guys received anything like that?
I was wondering if it's a sign! Maybe they link up the PNP EE application with your profile? Someone said that the nomination points were awarded automatically once they received the nomination.. that might mean there would be a communication between PNP EE and EE profile..
Anyway, just speculating..
Let me know if you got anything similar to mine these past few days..

The timing of the notification suggests that it was someone from ottawa rather than vancouver (6am!) So I'm guessing during the process they link up the pnp EE and EE profiles and maybe it's initiated by BC and has to be "accepted" by ottawa. 
so much speculation eh? I'm a software engineer though. And this makes sense to me. I'd say sometime last week they opened our applications and began processing it and hopefully we should get the AOR soon. Not sure if AOR is an email or a letter.. anyone has an idea?

So i won't get my hopes up again! But at least it seems someone is looking this time! Will update on any further info!
who knows.. I was SO disappointing with the CEC thing too.. had nightmares for a couple of nights but maybe it's even faster this way.. if the PNP goes through soon enough, and they stick to their 6 months time frame it'd definitely be faster.. but yeah, let's not get our hopes too high.

I am currently on the IEC visa and i don't really have a clue what to do next, but small steps. right now i just checked my credit card to make sure i still had room for $550.

Jroockley, did you see what I said about Work Permit extension? You can gain 3 months that way.
Guys keep me updated as soon as you get the AOR. My EE BC PNP application was received on the 19th so we are all in similar timeline here I think.
