BC PNP - Annual gross salary

I'm concern about the BC pnp annual gross salary calculation. They have mentioned to calculate hourly rate X 40 hours (max) X 52 weeks. Does this mean that all the applicants should have weekly salaries? or if i get a job offer with a semi monthly, is that a problem

I am also have a job with semi monthly payment. there's no problem with that.
