BC PNP Accepted- how to get work permit/ extension?

Hi there,

I have just been accepted on to BC PNP and have the work permit support letter. How do I go about turning this into a 2 year visa while I apply to CIC?? I am currently on a work visa (IEC) that expires early October.

Does anyone know if I can just go to the BC/USA border with the letter or do I need to send it off?
If I can just go to the border, what forms or paperwork do I need to take?

If you have been accepted for BCPNP you'll have an email from the PNP people which you take to the border and they put the visa into your passport.

Hello there,

If you are in an open work permit and with the BCPNP are you going to pass to a close one "Only valid to work with the company that sponsor you. (it was my case) I did it online.
In the other cases I am not sure..

Can u pls share how much time they have taken after recieving your application?
and pls let me know also after how much time of application submission they charged your card and e-mail?
These timelines will surely help me as i have also submitted my application in Aug 13 and waiting for their response.
