after just over 5 months of waiting, I finally got my nomination. applied on 25 April in semi-skilled category as long haul truck driver, received email with nomination on 29 september. Phew.

what is the date on your bachelors certificate? it is 2 years form that date. after that your a no longer eligible for graduate stream.

Situation:

Graduate bachelors May 2014 (BC university)
Graduate 1 year diploma May 2015 (Private university).

Applied for PNP Oct 1, 2016 EE-International Gradaute class(have 1 year BC work experience so far).

Am I out of luck? Since they say must apply within 2 years of graduation? I thought it would be 2 years from May 2015...but i'm confused since they don't accept private college for diploma...

I could only apply for PNP via EE-International graduate class, once I had CIC Express Entry Canadian experience Class..and in order to do that, I needed 1 year experience which I received in September 2016.

So if they are strict about 2 years from eligible (public) degree, then it would be nearly impossible for someone in my situation who did a 1 year post-baccelaurate diploma(private) to apply for PNP..unless you got a job RIGHT away after graduation. (Factoring in mandatory 1 year work experience for EE CEC class.

Anyone ever encounter this?

Yes, you don't need to worry about points, you can skip invitation and apply directly.

1. Is here anyone to get BC nomination with a job offer? I am living in BC and I recently got a job offer, I have some question regarding BCPNP. What my employer should do to support my application? what form they should fill out? I could not find any form for the employer.

2. Does PhD students in BC can get a BC nomination?(With a Master degree from Ontario.

If you are not a BC post grad then you will need supporting documents from you employer. The PNP for non BC grad is point based. First you need to register your profile in BC PNP in the appropriate stream. If your point is good enough then they will send you an ITA. After the ITA they will ask you to submit different documents from employer such as job offer form, bc business license, letter of recommendation etc.

Ask your employer if they are willing to support you for BC PNP. if they are willing to support you then the HR of the company normally knows which documents they need to provide for supporting an employee. for example this is the job offer form that the employer needs to fill up in order to support an employee for BC PNP.

I applied the bcpnp on Oct 6th under the international post-graduate category. I received a call from bcpnp today and the officer asked me a few questions and said I will be nominated. But I checked the status of my case at BCPNP online system it is still showed "submitted". I am wondering should the status be changed in the online system or not? And how long it usually takes to received the final package from BCPNP after their call? Thanks a lot!!

Congrats! nothing will change in BC PNP site, at least it is true for EEBC Post grad. Which category did you apply? SI or EE? if EE then 600 point going to pop up in your EE profile. I am not sure about SI. I applied for EEBC. They called me to confirm then within 2-3 hours I got an confirmation email and in my EE account I got 600 points. One day later I got PNP certificate email.

Applied EEBC-International Graduate and received nomination within same month. I may even get an ITA today. I wasn't expecting it so fast, little stressed about getting the all the documentation together.

Question: When do I do the medical? Will CIC profile tell me to do it after ITA?
