1. You can apply but both BC PNP and CIC require you to maintain status at the time of applicationBA2LAMAZ said:Hey guys, I have some questions that I would really appreciate if answered in details. Here is my backstory:
I graduated from one of the universities in Aug. 2014 (senate letter dated Sept. 2014). I have been at a NOC B job since August 2015 (I know, I lost one year in irrelevant jobs ). On the bright side, I almost at my one year benchmark for Express Entry (yay!). My job is a contract position valid till Aug. 2016 but with possibilities of extension but it might likely be for another year, like my colleagues with PGWP. Now my concerns are:
1. Can I apply for BC PNP with a job letter that says my duties, wage, etc but does not have the word "permanent" on it (I'm full time btw)
2. Do I need to wait for one full year before I can apply?
3. Does my employer need to back me up for BC PNP or I can just upload my necessary documents?
4. When I used the checklist, my total points was 81 (if I complete one year it will be 83) and minimum points for international graduate is 105. Is there any chance of getting nominated with this?
Thank you.
2. If you apply now, you can apply regular BC PNP which is a paper application at CIC stage that takes at most 15 months. If you apply when you have one year experience, you can go through BC PNP EE which only 6 months at Federal part.
3. You need to upload all documents and BC PNP will call your employer to verify the information.
