I sent my sponsorship application and got AOR one month ago. I am in a visitor visa right now. I called BC health care and they said I have to download a form MSP change to my wife add me on her health plan and mail to them. Does anyone know what documents need to send with the form? Did anyone here sponsored had the same experience?

Go to https://www2.gov.bc.ca/gov/content/...idents/eligibility-and-enrolment/how-to-enrol and read through the info. It will tell you what you need to apply for eligibility for MSP and what the waiting period will be for you. Editing to add: you are not automatically eligible and you will have to go through the application process, qualify as eligible, and then they will add you to your spouse's account with your own health number.

We are going through that with our son who is being sponsored. Call MSP and ask to speak with an enrollment specialist. They will give you a list of documents to submit and guide you on how to do it online.
