Hi everyone,

I have done my graduation BBA.LLB from IPU and now i am thinking to apply for Global Business Management program in any of the colleges who are offering a two year course. Please share your views about it, what specifically i want to know is
Am i going off track?
What are the job opportunities after completion of this course?
Suggest me a Good College offering this course.
Would be very helpful if you could introduce me to someone who is pursuing this course

To be honest enough, since you've pursued law in bachelors it would better to pursue a PG in the same field as well. There are many colleges in Canada offering PG courses related to law. Chances of both admission and visa approval would be high. But that does not mean if you pursue GBM your application would be rejected.

You can pursue GBM as well since its a generic course and anyone can do it irrespective whether he/she is from business, science, medical or legal background. Job opportunities are decent, you'll get a job for sure, but not necessarily at a position or a salary you are looking for. You'll have to do an MBA or a specialized course, later on, to get promoted to top-level/senior positions. This is what I have been told by some of the alumni of this course.

Humber, Centennial, and Lambton are some of the good colleges to consider. There are other colleges as well, which are more or less the same in terms of academics. You can even consider doing 2 courses of 1 year each (8 months = 1 academic year). That would also make you eligible for a 3 year work permit.

International students seem to be expecting the same job opportunities from a college course in GBM and an MBA. Not sure in practice what kind of career opportunities you get from a pg diploma in GBM especially with a law degree from another country.
