Hello everyone. I am hoping someone can help with some of the terms used on the board, etc. and how the basic steps generally happen for processing of a PR application.
Our wonderful nanny submitted her application for PR in July. She told me she received notice yesterday from CIC that her husband and two children in the Philippines must go get medicals done.
I am wondering what will happen after medicals? Is it a huge wait? Or is it a good sign that they have requested medicals within only about 3 months of her application?
What happens next? Anyone have an idea of how long this will take for her to be reunited with her family?
Also, she still doesn't have her OWP - is that normal for it to take over 3 months? She did the Option B based on having enough hours worked.
