Yes, you're right that it won't be denied for having them in the wrong spot, but the specifications are for on top.

Agree to disagree, but I'm sticking to my guns that my way iOS exactly what they are asking for!
Tink23, I think placing all the the barcode pages from both the applicant and sponsors form on the top of EVERYTHING, is a good idea and makes sense, but as DanSlh has suggested, what do you about the 2 barcodes that are on the signature page for IMM 0008? Does this suggest that it would be better to keep the barcode pages with the corresponding form, or do you think it doesn't matter?

As you have landed, it would be good to know what you did, as they obviously did not delay your application.

Either way, will I get penalised for putting the barcodes in the wrong or right place? I just need to know if there will be issues with NOT keeping the barcodes with their corresponding forms.

You won't be penalized for placing them in the wrong spot, but it will make things quicker to do as they ask with them on top of the whole application.

Yes, my husband landed in March 2013. I did the whole application and he was approved in 3 months and 3 days, this is including Mississauga and the vo abroad. If I remember correctly there are three pages of barcodes from two IMM forms. All of these go on top.

It is a small detail, but can help to move things along faster. This is ONE application with three parts, not two separate applications. It's all intertwined together.

Right, ok that makes sense.

The website says:
Place the barcode page on top of your package. If you have more than one package, place a separate barcode page on each one.

I read this to mean put a barcode on top of each application form...but maybe the term "package" means the entire thing - applicant and sponsor papers all together?

So, does it matter if the signature page for IMM 0008 is on top of the application form (because it has 2 barcodes on it) as opposed to being at the end of it like the other signature pages?
