Barcode for Application - Can someone please tell me the use?

I have recently applied for Open work permit.
On April 30th 2018 I have filled online form IMM1295E and validated it resulting in barcode generation. as advised, I took 3 to 4 copies of barcode pages. later I realized i made a mistake in the application so redid the application IMM1295E online and validated it, resulting in barcode generation and I took 3 to 4 copies of the barcode.
On the day of submitting the applicaiton, I got confused as I could not distinguish which is the correct barcode paper to submit along with my application.
Confusion:
Could I have attached the old barcode with the new application I made? If so, will the barcode, when scanned, give the entire information I have filled in for the application ?

The barcode contains the content of some selected, pre-identified fields from the visa application. These fields are encoded when the barcode is generated. If you change the data/input in the one of these fields then the barcode would also change.

These fields include the name (all name fields), date and place of birth, permanent and mailing addresses, passport number and expiry date, and citizenship. So, the barcode will not provide the entire information contained in your visa application.

To answer your question:
Yes, you could have included the old barcodes if you did not make any changes to the input fields that I have mentioned

Confusion resolved.
I just scanned the barcode paper online and found out that I have put the correct barcode.
