Banned for Misrepresentation (immigration) can I apply Study permit

Applied for Immigration to Canada and was rejected due to misrepresentation and was rejected because CIC said the Letter given by my manager was a fraud. The letter was authentic but CIC did not give me a chance to Prove myself and banned me I did not have the resources and time to flight the case so I left it at that.

Now after 3 years I have applied to a college and received a conditional offer letter from the college. Will my past history of being Banned affect this? Would there be issues for me to get my Study permit approved?

Please advise

You seem to be posting a lot of different and complete unrelated questions. Are you an immigration consultant?

Not an immigration consultant, asking on behalf of someone, don't want to make post complicated so thought its easier to ask questions on the platform where people help, Can you help with this query???

Depends when they were banned. They can't come to Canada while the ban is still in place under any kind of visa (including a study permit). Several years ago bans were 3 years - but they were increase to 5 years a few years ago.

So if this person is still under the misrepresentation ban - they need to forget about coming to Canada. It's not possible and they can't enter the country for any reason.

If the misrepresentation ban has ended, they can apply for a study permit but will need to make sure their application is very strong. CIC will be able to see their past history and the misrepresentation will be held against them (this is a serious charge).

Thank ou very much appreciate your reply !!! It was a 2 year ban, How should they make the Application strong?

Like for example is proof of accounts important? or GIC is enough, the Agent my friend is dealing with says GIC with Scotia Bank is enough for VIsa and Loan amount is not required.

Read through the threads on this forum. There's lots of information there on how to make an application strong. They need to show proof of ties. This isn't just about money - it's a lot more than that.

Ok so she was Banned for 2 years in 2014, do they extend it? or the one that was mentioned in the initial ban Letter still stays. Which means she was only banned for 2 years and now she can apply. Sorry just want to be clear :)

All that matters is the initial ban letter. So it's 2 years.

similar question from my side:
A candidate applied for immigration in 2014 before EE but his application reached after the cap was filled and the application package was opened and scrutinized and returned with letter that cap had already filled.
Now if the candidate apply for study permit, will the visa officer take this into account that he earlier applied for immigration and might be a potential immigrant?
The application package was returned with everything including envelope but they must have made entries in their system and they wrote letter and also there were checking signs on all the pages of application.
Any expert opinion?
