Bankruptcy Question?

Hey, I'm a Canadian citizen living out-land in the US with a green card.

My wife, whom I'll be sponsoring is debating filing for bankruptcy in the US.

My question is: Will that effect her approval odds for PR status in Canada via out-land immigration? (I know it doesn't effect her sponsorship of me but curious if it effects going the other way around?)

Any and all help is appreciated. We just wanna make sure we don't charge ahead and get ourselves in a bind.

No, it would not affect a PR app.

The only way it would affect the app is if you, the sponsor has a not discharged bankruptcy.
