Hello everybody,
I have 12 years of retail banking experience in India,Mumbai.
Currently working for a leading Private Bank, leading a team of 16 people in Mumbai. I am looking for a opening in Toronto.
Will request you to kindly let me know the job prospects and chances of getting job. Have spoken with many PR agents here all are saying will get the PR easily but none are mentioning anything about job. Here in India me & my wife we both earn 35 lacs in a year. I am little concern if I don’t get a job in 3-4 months and out of money there. Please help with your comment.

Hi Newtone,
Thanking you for your reply. I wanted to know the prospect of retail banking in Canada, I know that I need to be physically present there to get a job.

Just to give you an idea. People start their retail banking career at the age of 17 as a teller while in high school. By the time they are 21 they are a head teller and have atleast 10 tellers under them. By the time they are 24 provided they pass their certifications they are financial planners. By 30 they are branch managers. So you have to put yourself in context and see how you see yourself among your competitors

Thanks Newtone,
My current profile is, Team Leader of Wealth Management Channel managing a team of 16 Wealth Relationship Manager. Having total experience of 12 years, 6 years in retail branch banking 6 years in Wealth Management & team leader.
I am getting job offer from UAE but I want to migrate to Canada or Australia.

Unfortunately your Indian experience will not be counted as any experience. Well anyway who am I to say. Better come here and experience it for yourself
