This forum is specially for bankers who wants to NOC 1212 (supervisors, finance, insurance others). This is one of the most confusing category and people including me hv lots of confusion regarding work experience related issues.. lets discuss here

I m also bank operations supervisor... but noc 0013 is a senior managerial position and 1114 has no match with job duties of bank.. so its 1212 which some how match ...and also 1212 is least hot noc so its safe i think

I AM BUT I GUESS MY NOC 1212 INSURANCE OFFICE WORKERS DOESNT TALLY WORD FOR WORD WITH MY EXACT JOB FUNCTION AS A MARKETING OFFICER AND A FORMER RISK MANAGEMENT OFFICER.

He/she decides if applications for insurance cover are acceptable and if so, on what terms and consitions. He assesses risks according to the likelihood of a claim being made by weighinh up a number of risk factors. He/she also ensures that detailed information from prospective clients and policyholders are gotten. The aim is to minimize losses for the company and help to make a profit.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To follow up on premium payment and reconciliation of same;
To carry out risk survey;
To conduct pre-loss and post loss inspection;
To study reports from our monitoring agents and make recommendations where necessary;
To process risk survey fess;
Other jobs assigned by the Head of Department Reports from our monitoring agents and make recommendations where necessary;

I think you need to have supervising duties in a bank or insurance co. to apply under 1212

I do not agree with you. I am a banker applying as an account manager under NOC 1114. U sell mortgages, advice customers on insurance as u have to do insurance on loans. Look closely at the responsesibilities and you will find out you can create roles to fit the description

hi i am new to this forum. i am a bank relationship manager in sydney. i am interested to apply for the FSW2014. i noted that the closest i can get to is NOC1114 though 0122 is more relevant but it is not on the listing. i handle residential and commercial mortgages as well as arranging insurances and other banking products for clients. would like to know more your experience and advice on whether by opting for this route would be workable or not.

did u check duties of noc 1212...i think it is more closely reletaed to bankers then noc 1114... rest its all depend on u which noc to choose.

my job duties and responsibilities are same as mentioned in NOC 0122 of credit manager..
bt my educational qualifications are .. BSc it and Msc it .. ??
