Hi,

not sure if I get this right but since I am in Canada and applying for PR does that mean I need to send all the bank statements of the past 6 months for all of my accounts (including credit cards etc.)?

I just went to my bank and asked them and the guy behind the counter gave me a single page document with my current accounts on it. He told me I could print out anything else from their online banking website... which doesn't fullfill the requirements from the CIC (it's only .csv files etc. CIC want something with official letter head)

Anyone applying from inside Canada, what did you use here?

what I am talking about is this part here:
@Farox : It's an either or for bank statements. Either you get the statement from bank for 6 months stamped and dated etc. or just download the statements through website. I have downloaded my indian and Canadian bank statement, Indian provident fund account, Fixed Deposit accounts and other accounts from website which is absolutely valid. Hope this helps !

Dax Retes - Financial Advisor.

You can see the location for the branch and the contact information on the image I attached.
If you are not in Edmonton just print mine and have a Financial Advisor in your branch to write one for you.
Hello, Cosgrec
Thanks for sharing your information. It really helps me.
I am just wondering what form they used for the summary of balances.
Can you show me your attached form? if you can...

Thanks
Ryan

Hey SMCANADAVISA,
Did you provide the Indian PF statement (that we get from our companies) as POF? Was that accepted?

Coz, then i am also thinking of keeping these docs handy, so once i receive ITA ( hoping and hoping ....) i wont be in a rush to arrange these docs..Thanks!

If you in Canada you can simply print online state of your account. No need to do this all stuff.
CIC can contact Canadian bank and get necessary information.

All this hassle with official letters from banks only for a case when you not in Canada, CIC cannot get access to your abroad accounts.

Turn your brain on and don't follow blindly guidelines.

I'm with TD. ok, so this is really a thing. wow, they really want me to strip naked.
I had same question before but since 2 of my banks have no branches - like PC and Tangerine you cannot get any letters)
So just print online statement.
If CIC need they will verify all.
