Bank statements or bank certificates during PR application at CE-Abu Dhabi

Hi everyone!

I am new here! I got nominated thru MPNP (Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program) and I am finalising my documents to be submitted to Canadian Embassy-Abu Dhabi.

I have 2 questions regarding my applcation for PR:

1. The proof of funds like bank statements and bank certificates are not mentioned in Abu Dhabi checklist.
Do I still need to submit it to the Embassy?

2. I got approved under GENERAL STREAM, which my 2 FRIENDS signed on the affidavit of support. In the Abu Dhabi checklist, do I still need to show proof of relationship to my relative who lives in Vancouver? FYI, my relative in Vancouver has nothing to do at all on my PROVINCIAL NOMINATION.

I hope I can get a response on this matter.

Hello Atand,

Bank statement is not required as per Abu Dhabi Checklist and Senior Applicants of Abu Dhabi.

Relationship proof will be your affidavit supporter’s PR or Passport copy.

I am also arranging my documents to submit my file to Abu Dhabi CIC.

What is your timeline up to MPNP nomination? please share it.
I also applied for MPNP-GS, just got a temporary file and they requested additional docs. I submitted the additional docs last May 12. What will be next and how long will it takes?

Hi Sindebad ! according to the cic website, average processing time is 24 months, but most applicants in abu dhabi who are in this forum claim that processing is between 11-13months on the average. I would like to believe them, of course. hehehehe!

Hello Atand,

Since they have already asssigned a temporary file number on my application, does it mean they will provide me a new permanent file number later and is that will reflect on the AOR? [ coz I am not sure if the first letter is the AOR] Please also kindly share your sponsor's feedback regarding the interiew, what are the questions? Do they need proof that you are close to your friends/sponsors? Please let me know, or if you can suggest something that I should share with my friends/sponsor...will be glad to know your inputs

Me too, I think it will only take less than a year to process the MPNP applicants.
Considering that the next holiday will be by end of August, CIC Abu dhabi will have ample time to process a lot in their pipeline. ;D
