Ideally, applicant should keep the required balance in account till PPR. Change of Bank is not an issue nor required to inform CHC as long as required amount is always available.

gud luk

PPR stands for passport request, usually by which the verification is over. However I personally feel it is safe to keep the funds in the same account you had submitted at the time of applying since they can ask for revised bank statements anytime till DM (Decision Made). Else it is better to keep them informed of the change so that there are no issues whatsoever with your application.

All the best

Dear...It is good to keep and sometimes necessary CHC informed regarding change in your status for eg change in residence, change in employment etc etc. But in your particular case, i do not think change of bank account needs a mandatory update but sharing info has no problem but condition is you should have, all the time, minimum required balance as per CHC standards. They would never know easily unless informed. Similar request for PROOF OF FUNDS (latest statements for last six months) can pop up any time before PPR.

PPR stands for PASSPORT REQUEST. This is the last stage for visa stamping. CHC in general inquires all about you before sending this request.

CHC will not know and it is not required to inform them. If they have any doubts about your finances, they may ask for more proof, e.g. bank statements for 6 months to determine where the money has come from.

In my opinion, do not inform CHC if you are just transferring money or changing accounts as it will cause them to reopen that part of your file and re-evaluate your POF, which means additional scrutiny and could delay your application.
