Bank statement/property/funding

Hi,
I recently got a research student Funding .I'll be applying for my study permit within few days.Although i have a funding letter by the Canadian University ,i'll be showing my father's Bank statement for the past four months with it.Is the statement period ok,or do i need to show more ?

Would that be ok to show my dad's statement and not mine?

Can i show some property and count that in as a source of funding?

Although I have got research funding, I plan to show family funds also. How do plan to show ties to your home country? Is it important to attach a statement of purpose?
