Bank Statement : Proof of funds question

hi Folks,

I will be submitting a bank statement in Indian currency, do I need to submit any proof with conversion to Canadian Currency ?

or will CIC calculate by themselves by converting Indian - Canadian currency to determine the Funds in CAD?

CIC will convert by themselves. Just make sure to have a little extra in your account to make sure that forex fluctuations don't affect you. eg. If you are required to have $10,000 then probably have atleast monet equivalent to $10,500

not a big deal, you can request your bank to issue you an bank certificate and then ask them to add an additional line converting the amount to CAD, on whatever the forex rate your bank has on that particular date.
