My question is regarding the proof of funds as I see in the london visa office specific guidelines under (SETTLEMENT FUNDS) they are asking for ....
CURRENT BANK CERTIFICATION LETTER.
EVIDENCE OF SAVINGS BALANCE: OR
FIXED OR TIME DEPOSIT STATEMENT
I think they are not asking for our current bank account statement am I right. secondly the current bank certification letter is a letter issued by bank mentioning our current account balance it is not a bank statement in any means?
My problem is I am from pakistan and I live in UK I have required amount in my pakistani bank account I spoke to the manager early this morning and ask him for the bank statement and current bank certification letter. he refused to issue me a bank statement as he said he needs my presence to produce the bank statement.but he can write me a current bank certification letter mentioning my name account number and current account balance on my UK address. can some one please let me know it is sufficient or not because I have read alot of posts on this forum in which people are mentioning they sent them 6 months or 3 months bank statements etc.
because as far as I can understand they are not asking for 3 or 6 month bank statements they are only asking for one of above mentioned things bank certification letter,evidence of savings balance, fixed or time deposit statemen.
can some one please cleraify my doubts .Thanks
