bank statement currency

Dear all

my question is do I need to show my bank statement for student visa application in CAD or GBP would be fine?
do I need to open a foreign currency account and show in Canadian Dollars? ( I`m based in UK).
Also would it be fine if I show two bank statements ? one statement from my CAD account, that shows the full fee, and the other statement the past 4 months of my normal account?
