Bank staements with POF

Dear all,

will it suffice if i just send the bank letter as per the CIC requirement or shall I also attach my bank statements for the past six months. I have also looked into the CIC website and didn't find there to be any mention of the bank statement.

Please can someone help.

You do have to provide the bank statements to prove the funds having been on your account(s) for the last 6 months.

I differ with the above, as long as your bank letter follows IRCC's guidelines then that's the only mandatory document to provide.

Bank letter will suffice and if they need bank statements, they will ask through ADR anyway.

I plan on showing funds around the range of the minimum requirement of 12300. I'd probably show something about 13200 CAD. would that be sufficient ? and does exchange rate fluctuations affect their evaluation ?

13200 CAD should suffice the requirement and also the forex fluctuations

adding to what @hemanthsamayam mentioned above, IRCC would normally consider the exchange rate the day you made the bank letter....

If you have the bank letter as per CIC guidelines then you don’t need 6 month statements.

adding to what @hemanthsamayam mentioned above, IRCC would normally consider the exchange rate the day you made the bank letter....

If the letter mentions average balance for the last six months then you don’t need to provide six months statements.
