I applied on 7th July; no status till now.

I applied on 14th july from ahmd vfs..after that I link my application to mycic account..till now no updates....not even medical update..pls guys be activate on this forum...and post here when you get any update.. Thank you..

Go through this and follow all steps carefully...
1) Go to CIC website -> My application -> Check your application status -> select study permit -> Link your paper based appliction
2) Select: continue to Gckey
3)Select: Sign up on next page and create your username, password and security questions.
4)After creating my cic account, click link application to this account.
5)Then select category as Temporary residence and subcategory as Study permit and extension.
6)Then select Family name,given name and date of birth option.
7)Fill your family name(surname), given name and date of birth.
8)Next in applicant personal info fill passport information only and DONOT FILL CITY AND COUNTRY OF BIRTH.
9) Fill program start and end date as well as DLI number of the institution (found in offer letter)
10) Your application will be found and can be linked.
11) You can get real time updates on your paper application.
In case of any doubts drop comments below.

I dont have a given name in my application, i just have a Family name. So how to search my application. Please do help.

May be next week we will receive study permit. According to discussion forum nobody have received till now who applied after 1st July 2016.

Only one guy received visa...I applied VFS Delhi on July 4th vis paper based application...upto now there is no update...medicals passed on July 22 only

Hello All,

I applied on July 22 at Hyderabad, My application is also being processed at Bangalore.
I have received no updates as of now.
I applied under General - University - category.
My hope is that I get the visa before August 24 as I need to report to the University on August 29.
