Banglore visa Office processing time Delay (Applied in september)

Hi,

I had applied for a Temporary resident visa and work permit on 1st sept through mumbai vfs global.
my application is still showing under process at Banglore visa office,really clueless about the amount of time its taking,its 2 months now.


I have a job offer from a canadian employer
A positive LMIA application. (skilled category)

I had done the medicals upfront ,and submitted a proof of completion of the medicals along with my visa application

applied with all the documents which were needed in the application package.
submitted a PCC too.

has anyone applied in september at banglore visa office and facing really long processing times ?

I have applied on sept 8th for my wife. still no reply

Processing time for workpermit at Bangalore is two months.If it exceeds you can send a case specific enquiry to bangalore office.

I am not sure about the documents.but you can ask about update of your application

I had read somewhere that they take some 20 to 25 days to answer back regarding any case specific enquiry.
but yes ,makes sense to send one.

I dont think they take 20days to reply. You will get reply in one or two days.

Do you have any idea,which is the file number which has to be included in that enquiry form?

I just got a reciept from VFS global mumbai. and there is just a tracking ID and a reference number on it.

cant see any file number on the reciept.

As you applied paper you dont get your file number or UCI. you can submit with your name and date of birth as file number and UCI are optional fields.

Hi,

Got a confirmation email yesterday from the visa office ,that the visa and work permit application is approved.

and another email informing that the passport is dispatched.
