Banglore VFS - Visitor Visa (TRV) - Processing Time (May 2016)

Hello All...
Applying for visitor visa and the question is related to the signature on the forms to be submitted online.
IMM5257 Application for Visitor Visa (Temporary Resident Visa) Made Outside of Canada (IMM5257) (required) -- is it recommended to physically sign and scan the document for uploading and for Family Information IMM5645 for online application do we need to take a print out write the names in native language and sign the same and then scan and upload.

I had applied paper application trv for my wife on july 28 at vfs Ahmedabad. It still shows processing at Bangalore. Anyone who applied around the same time got any update..?

Hello All,

I applied for an online TRV and there are emails says your application updated and when you log in to the cic site there are no messages.
can anybody share their experience about the updates and stuff over email and relevant activity in cic site.

Hello .. i applied online for trv on 20aug and got passport request 26thaug.

i got the email for passport request and i did not know where the application which others are able to see and mention
However when i look at application/profile on cic website following is the information:

Where is this application? Details
Application/profile status Open
Review of medical results Not needed at this time
Review of submitted documents No additional documents are needed at this time
Scheduling an interview Not needed at this time
Review of biometric information Not needed at this time
Final decision Not Started

I would request to share experience by people in the forum.

I applied paper application from vfs ahmedabad on july 28. Its still showing in process at bangalore. Can we apply for GCMS notes for TRV while its in process? Has anyone applied for gcms notes for trv, please share your experience.

Did you see the passport dispatched status on VFS website for your application?

My parents got passport request and they submitted passports to Hyderabad Vfs. Tracking shows it is processed in banglore. No updates form them yet.

Submitted passport on Aug31st

And it was closed on Monday too for Bakri Eid. So in short no expected updates since few days.
