Mine got updated yesterday and today by 4pm i got the mail. its a day delayed. so check inside your cic account if it says 'updated' instead of 'submitted' and u can see.

Thanks a lot for the info.
I have emailed at
BAGLR-IMMIGRATION@international.gc.ca. Also have given a request application for visa update at the vfs office in Mumbai in-person. I understand the subjective but some update would be helpful. i even called the vfs helpline and they said my application is processed to Bangalore office. Well the results that have declared are in positive or negative feed back as the results are subjective. But I didn't receive any update at all !! What u suggest in this situation? And also many of them had applied on 27th July from Mumbai none have got any response yet !! Dose it mean the Mumbai applicants are still not processed?

Hey Jay,
Understand your frustration but there is nothing much that can be done except wait. If your application crosses five weeks of timelines then you can raise a case specific query on CIC. However, case specific query is nothing but a query form drafted into a mail and sent to the consulate where your file is being processed so its as good as mailing. Yes, Mumbai and Ahmedabad applications are taking a bit longer than bangalore applications. The reason being, background verification check takes longer in case of outstation candidates.

One thing I would like to add is... The sweetness of fruit can be felt only after passing the patient phase of its ripening...
