If you are trying to link paper application to online and not successful then don't worry as it happens in most of the cases...Maybe the name is entered differently or course start and end dates are different from what entered...You will need your UCI number or Application number to try again...Try everything in upper case and refer exact info as on passport...

I doubt if you have your UCI...
Did your agent give you an application number?
For general category, its very difficult to link an application( easier for those who have a GIC account, do you?)

When you sign in on GC key, you will have two options...select the first one where you see the bank options...Try linking it via partnered banks...
If you have done that already then your study permit form will have your application number generated when you validate it...Hope you saved a screenshot or copy?

Congrats dave.. when was your medical updated..and what time did you receive mail.

Thanks, i got my medical updated on 26th august. i received the mail from CIC around 12 in the afternoon.
Couple of hours before i got my visa approval, my application status changed to "updated" and then it went back to its initial status,submitted.

For all those waiting...Pls note that your application gets a bit delayed then rest of applications if you have procured a loan...
A team of specialists scrutinizes your loan details and your credibility to repay...Such applications can be fastened by availing a security letter from the bank and an income certificate of the guarantor...

The funds I mentioned was from my parents. I haven't mentioned loan amount in my application. Mine is 1yr PG course. First sem fee paid, 10240GIC tolal fees are around 13thousand dollars

The funds I mentioned was from my parents. I haven't mentioned loan amount in my application. Mine is 1yr PG course. First sem fee paid, 10240GIC tolal fees are around 13thousand dollars

So what I can comprehend is that, you have not shown your bank details and showed your parents as the sponsors.
You took the bank loan in your account and plan to use it during your stay in Canada or for further fees.
On the other hand, are you a fresher or do you have any work experience?

Expect good news and be hopeful that the PP is stamped, which you will only know once you open it...
If so, chase the consulate for your LOI if you do not receive by tuesday...

Can you check the tracking slip provided by VFS? There is a application number below your tracking ID...

if you remember, when you submit and validate your study permit form, there will be a barcode generated which bears a alpha numeric code.
That is the application number which goes along with your file.
Do you have a copy of that?
