Thank you Shumon Bhai for your kind reply, I already contacted them but they said they can't issue any certificate for such bonds as they are the products of the Bangladesh government not theirs. So I'm just notarizing each copy of the bonds and sending them with a cover letter. One more issue I will highly appreciate if it can be answered as well. The visa officer also asked me to send updated copies of our passport biopage. Should I just send them the first 4-5 pages that contain my personal info or I have to send all the pages of our passports??

No. Only the pages that contains any information. Usually the First 02-03 pages if you don't have any child attached, or any renewal/ extension issue.

Hi, you may do the following:

a. Prepare a cover letter mentioning that you have purchased the bond.
b. In the letter prepare a table mentioning the bond serial no, bond registration number and the Tk amount
c. In the last row, make total.

Then show the fund in $ in present conversion rate.

Photocopy all the bonds, notarize and then send them to VO along with the cover letter.

You don't need to go to the bank.

Don't worry, it will be fine. If you have further question, please feel free.

One experience i would like to share.

Like me who will land and come back BD for incomplete affairs and planning to put a flat # as a mailing address at airport immigration.

Please make sure and if necessary ask them twice if they have put the flat # in the address line. They have a habit of not putting flat # and a result PR card returns back to their office. This happened to my sisters family. once they called CIC after two months then only came to know that PR cards returned back due to address issue. Then they had to put the flat number and again waited 3 weeks to get the PR card. now for people who are inside canada for them this is not an issue. because they can wait with out any major tension

Now same thing happened to me. my sister warned me on this issue before so I gave them a big letter print out and requested them to put flat #. Unfortunately they put full address for my wife and son's but again forgot to mention flat # for me. result is mine one was not coming. this is kind of mental pressure sitting in BD. then i called CIC after 55 days and realized again the flat # issue. Eventually i got my PR card as well. But it was a mental pressure for me.

Finally all pending things completed for my Canada PR. Inshallah i will permanently move to canada sometime end 2014 or early 2015.

One suggestion for people who are like me coming back BD for a while please get G1 license as well. very easy. you need 2/3 days 2-3 hrs online study and that's it.

I got my GI license and they acknowledged my BD license as well so once i will go back to canada i can immediately sit for G2 license after couple of road lessons.

You shall open a bank account there and put some money so that again you don't need to carry entire money with you during final move.

I opened RESP account for my son and asked bank to transfer a small amount each month to my son's RESP account.

My Sister -in-Law will travel Bangladesh to Italy via Turkey. Luggage allowance is 40kg (2begs) mentioned in ticket, is it in total means Luggage for belt and Cabin bag (8kg) or she can be able to give 40kg (2 bags) in belt and can carry another hand bag for Cabin of 8kg.

plz reply who already traveled through the same airlines.

Check your agent for promotion at Turkish Airlines. As they had offer for 3 checked in bags 23 kilo each, in addition to the cabin luggage 07 kilo. (For US and Canada only). Many of my known traveled by Turkish. The only problem is their service is very much stupid and the Istanbul immigration officers are cow-dung. All of my relatives complained and suggested to avoid this stupid carrier.
