Collecting Visa from SGVO- SG experience

As promised, here is my note on my experience in SGVO, to collect PR in person.

Arrived 22 morning in SG.
Reached SGVO around 9.15 am, and it took me 30 mins to complete my discussion with the frond desk officer. At that hour the visa section of the consulate office was almost empty. The officer first told me that they will take 2 weeks to return my pp or I can send it from BD through VFS. I explained why I can't do that and provided all supporting documents(my fellowship offer letter, correspondence with Sydney visa office, when I informed them that this situation my arise, etc), she then went inside again and came back saying that they will issue my visa on 25 morning. What I understood is, unless it is an emergency, SGVO will not issue a PR visa in person.

Hi,
Have the applicants who have IP with date from SGVO (whose files werent transferred to AVO), got their MR? Im asking because AVO transferred applicants have completed MR and are getting DM status and soon there is going to be PPR rain for them...so am wondering what's going on with SGVO applicants who have IP with date. Please share.

Important point. Really unpredictable characteristics of SGVO. Even my uncle(mama) who applied for his spouse, passed more than 1year, heard nothing from SGVO. Then what is SGVO doing actually? Why they r not starting like Mi-1/2012, where all file started at a time.

And now it seems SVO doesnt even want to give passports personally to applicants in 3 days time. they prefer vfs and 2 weeks waiting time. mane tara sob angle diyei slow n lethargic vabe behave kortese. i wonder what the cause could be. if it wasnt for auvo activities, more number of applicants would be facing longer waiting times. i think another visa office should also be selected to assist this useless sgvo. only auvo support is not enough. hahaha.. Allah save us all.
