generally CIO checks the complete application package with an initial point assessment.
VO does the background checks with the thorough point calculation.

Thanks for your reply. What is the difference between MI-1, MI-02 if VISA further calculate the point. Why not CIO & CIC have unique system for point calculation? MI-01 applicants have sent only forms to CIO then all documents sent to Visa office but MI-02 every things have sent together due to time save initial assessment by CIO. Waiting for reply from visa office.

If you cant access your ECAS tomorrow also then send a CSE. inform them about your ECAS.
