dear friends
I have recieved the letter..well its not MR ...they asked me some required documents. Before that i like to mention that i notified them about my wives pregnancy ,her expected delivery date is 20th of this month,i also notified them as i am away from my job for somedays. They asked the following things
1.Updated schedule A background/Declaration forms for applicant and spouse.
2.ppc for applicants for applicant and spouse over 18 years.
3.5 recent photographs for all(applicant,spouse,dependants)
4.For newborn child: processing fee 150 canadian dollars bank draft, three passport size picture,a copy of babies birth certificate.
5.Notarized copy of original Nikha Nama in Bengali with Translation(previously i gave only english one-notarized)
6.RPRF fees in Bannk draft by scb of applicant and spouse 490 canadian dollars each
so in light of this i need ur comments and ur reaction
thanks

It's nothing to worry about I guess. as your wife is pregnant & you informed them about it, that's why they ask for updated documents. Hope you'll get MR soon or if worst then may be you have to wait till your baby's birth & then fly all together. My suggestion is, send all required documents ASAP.

COMPILATION AND COMPARISON OF FSW MI2, CASES IN INVENTORY, OF SINGAPORE VISA OFFICE:

Skilled Worker Inventory as of April 08, 2012 (Cases)
MI-2 : Appl. Rec'd between June 26, 2010 and June 30, 2011

Assessment for Eligibility Selection Decision Final Decision Total

Singapore - RPC 4 441 61 506

Skilled Worker Inventory as of July 06, 2012 (Pending cases)
MI-2 : Appl. Rec'd between June 26, 2010 and June 30, 2011

Assessment for Eligibility Selection Decision Final Decision Total

Singapore -RPC 3 422 85 510

Definitions & Explanation: (IMO)

Assessment of Eligibility (pending) - means VO has yet to determine eligibility, although CIO already determined it.
Selection decision (pending) - means VO , has not yet reviewed and started processing the case. This stage is pending. Once selection decision is made, applicant gets, In Process with date status in Ecas.
Final Decision (pending) - means VO has already issued MR but final decision is not yet made.
Total (pending) - Total of all the cases in the above three different stages.

Interpretation of above table:

Between Jan 2012 - April 2012, cases whose selection decision was pending reduced by:
478-441 = 37
i.e. 37 cases moved into In Process/MR stage during this period

Between April 2012 - July 2012, cases whose selection decision was pending reduced by:
441-422 = 19
which means in this period 19 more cases moved to the IP/MR stage

Although at first glance it looks like Final Decision inventory has been increasing from 44 to 61 then to 85, processing speed has actually slowed down for MI-2 cases.

As of July 2012, 85 applications (cases) have already got MR, submitted MR and now these people are waiting for Decision made status and PPR.

Not a good report, in my opinion.

All the best for the future, as this report is as of JULY 2012. Now it is OCTOBER 2012, so definitely the next report is going to be better and in order for that to happen our stage should also advance. Lets not lose hope.

I can't get some points. In the chart it says total no. of visa issued is 497 & again says 80% [that means only 180 cases] completed in 15 months. if you understand the whole thing can you please explain in brief.

Friends,
Ecas website is being worked on for that reason, one cannot log in. I guess it will be fixed shortly. At first, I thought that this is an address disappearance problem but now I am seeing the problem is in the website.

Soon within the next few months, Inshallah, I will congratulate hollowman, Ekarus, Probir, Mute_man, Sky Blue, shahedts, bluedhaka, mwm78, projapoti, kochi and many others for getting In Process with date status. Inshallah, you people will also congratulate me for In Process with date status. The number of applications for MI-2 and MI-3 combined is smaller than the total number of MI-1 applications. They have not yet given our case attention. Once MI-1 finishes, Allah willing, our applications will be given attention and good news will spread everywhere for everyone. Everyone please say Ameen.

Best wishes
