Hi, I am a new member of this forum. I applied in December 2010. I appointed a consultant and he says my application is still received by visa office. I cannot check my status by myself as I not have my application code number.

I think my consultant maybe not telling me truth. Is it possible to have this stage for so long? I am hearing the same thing from my consultant for so long. Can anyone suggest me what I can do now?

It is your full right to know your file number and all updates if you using a consultant. In Dhaka there are some consultant do this thing. You can write to SGVO with your Name, Birth Date and Country to know your file number. Off course, SGVO will let you know the number.
Have patience. There are many MI-2 in RBVO status. Even October 2010 also. My feeling is that from october, SGVO will start work on MI-2.

That's a good suggestion. this forum belongs to MI2 those applied between july2010and june 2011. Most of their status is RSVO. U have not use your home address even, is it? Yeah, so be patience as we r for long time!!! lets hope!!! say each other to inspire..

I just heard from a lawyer that 2 MI-2 (September, October 2010) applicant's from SGVO got MR. May be they are working on it. Cause, Only a few MI-2 is in pipeline. So it will be done. Lets hope for the best and Pray.

it should be only a few....but i guess 18 are there in this forum
'18' not a less number considering not all are in this forum and many mi2 already in canada

Exciting news. I hope this lawyer has given authentic news to you. If its so then it will not take even a month to complete the entire MI2.
