hi gyz drowning here,

Got an e-mail from Singapore asking for my UK PCC on OCT 31,2016 as i didn't submit it with my application while i applied. So I Sent that PCC to singapore on NOV 9,2016. It seems like my application is at the last stage.

So my question here,
Once the additional documents (PCC in my case) delivered to singapore, how long does it normally take to get the Passport request under my scenario ?

if anyone went through the same situation plz give a head up....

Thank you.
I know someone who went through that situation lets just say its probably gunna be december-january usually 8 to 9 months from the start date of your app if its a 2016 with your interview waived.

Hi,

Though the subject of this post is "Bangladeshi Applicants for Sponsoring Spouse Only" but I need your advice if any Bangladeshi PR holders applied for TRV or TRP for his/her newborn.

As my wife is expecting and we have plan to delivery here in Bangladesh, so appreciate if anyone can advice the detail process of TRV or TRP for newborn and how much time it takes to get the visa.

I just call VFS office Dhaka, they advised me to talk to directly Singapore Canadian High Commission office for this kind of TRV or TRP visa.

A bit confused, so appreciate you expert advice.
A bit confused about your question. Are you planning to deliver the baby in Bangladesh or in Canada? If it is in Bangladesh, why you need the TRV?

If you want to bring your wife to Canada (I am assuming you live in Canada) to deliver the baby, you may apply for a TRV in Singapore, however highly unlikely that her visa will be granted. Remember she is not a PR until she arrives in Canada - as such there is expenses related to the birth of the baby - not to mention any complication that may arise for the mother. Not to mention, Singapore usually doesn't grant a TRV Visa who has an existing application for immigration.

Of course, you can apply and find out. In that case, your wife sends the application to Singapore. You may provide invitation letter, supporting documents etc.

So guys, I have a problem.

So my wife sent passport via vfs on Novemeber 2, now my mom is in dhaka but her flight is on the Nov.21st to come back to Toronto but i want both wife and mom to fly together. Now when do you think my wife should get her passport back, from your experiences. And if its past Nov.21st what date should i change her ticket date to. Without having to pay the penalty with the airline twice..
There is no way to know beforehand when Singapore will send your wife's passport. It could be tommorow, it could be next week.

A good practice is to wait until you get the passport in hand.

Some travel agencies (or airlines) will allow you to change the date of the flight - however they may charge a penalty.

If you are sending Passport or sending documents to Singapore from Bangladesh, make sure to use the VFS office in Gulshan only.

Hi everyone, how long on an average does it take to get back the Passport from SVO. Submitted it on 2nd November and it arrived in Singapore on 7th.

Moreover, I have another silly question! Does having PPR essentially mean that CIC have done all the checks, including Background check and the application is closed? In eCAS it shows DM, but can't access MyCic. So just curious to know.

Not sure about the current wait time for getting passport back - I would say 1 month give or take a few days.

When you receive the Passport back with Visa stamped and the PPR - you may consider no other checks are being done (doesn't matter what ecas says - in fact after you get your Passport & PPR - don't need to see what is going on in ecas)

I have got PPR email this morning. It says the Passports should be valid for at least twelve (12) months. But the expiary date of my passport is little less than one year. so i guess i have to renew my passport before i submit it to VFS dhaka.

My question here, in Appendix B, should i mention my new passport number i am going to make or the previous one i used for my application??? :(

Thank u in advance.

Hi

Good day to you all. So I want to clarify few things here and I really need your help. I will put down the case here and please advice me on what to do.

Myself:

1. Post Grad Work Permit till 2020
2. Working at CIBC as an FSR (NOC B) for a month.
3. Getting paid biweekly.
4. Finished my MBA
5. Did my tax filing last year and will do it this year as well.
6. Zero savings in my account.

Wife:

1. Last semester in NSU (Computer Science bachelors)
2. Ielts General Training (8 out of 9).
3. Part time Accounts executive in a Marketing Firm.
4. Zero Saving.

Can you please tell me based on this situation, what can be done? When should I apply and what are the chances? Please let me know.

Thank you

Hi,

If you did your MBA in Canada, chances are you will get your PR if you apply in the right category in a professional manner. Check the appropriate thread of this forum and start the process. Meanwhile your wife after her graduation can come to Canada under student visa.

Hi,
I would like some opinions regarding my case.
I am currently residing in Australia on student visa and I got married to my then boyfriend-now husband in 2016 February when I was studying on a student visa (as an exchange student) in Canada for a year. We have known each other for over 8 years now and he is a Canadian citizen. We also lived together in Canada when I studied there for a year and have sent proofs for all of that.

We sent our application in October 2016, after I returned to Australia because it took us a while to get our marriage certificates and then to organize and gather other forms and stuff. Currently, I am residing in Australia but was asked for an interview back in Dhaka, Bangladesh. However, under my current circumstances, it is not possible for me to make a trip to Dhaka, Bangladesh as I am a full-time student here and am enrolled with a lot of courses. Now, I sent an email to the Singapore visa processing centre asking for a change in venue within Australia, but they haven't replied yet. So in this scenario, are there any chances that they would change my venue within Australia? Or should I ask for an interview in Bangladesh at a later time? Please give me your ideas...
