POLICE CLEARANCE CERTIFICATE (Bangladeshi Applicants for Sponsoring Spouse)

Hi gyz,

I just got an e-mail from Singapore asked me to send Police clearance Certificate of UK and India as i was in London and India for about 4 yrs in each Country.I have submitted BD PCC with the application.
However, I already have the other two PCC from each country with me.

So my question here:

  • Postal address of Singapore to send my PCC ?
  • Which courier service (FedEx,DHL or any other) should i choose to safely and quickly send those DOC ?
  • Should i include any additional paper to write my CASE Details (Sponsor & Sponsored person name, Case number, UCI etc.) or Can i just mention it on the envelop of my parcel ?
  • How soon do they start processing after getting the required DOC they are asking for ?
  • How long does it normally take to get the PPR if all goes well after the Background Check ?

Thanks in advance and i really apprecialte if u gyz cud help me with the above questions in details.

Best of luck everybody and looking forward to see loads of good news.
;)

Thank you.

where in Dhaka the TNT office and how much did they charge you?
how many days it take to reach singapore?

My mother is from Chittagong, so she sent it from Ctg; a simple google search will probably show you TnT's dhaka offices.

It took 4 days (according the tracking #)

Just wanted to add my file status to the forum. Applied in June 2016 to Mississauga, and file went to Singapore in August. Checked today and the status shows "Decision Made" on my wife's application. Gonna have to wait a few more days to see what decision Singapore has made.

Update everyone,

Just received PPR for my wife. 8)

Thanks for all the support, I will keep you posted. ;D

How is everyone doing?

Back in July, I helped a friend (a PR living and working here in Ontario) organize and send documents for sponsoring his spouse.

His spouse's file was transferred to Singapore in 1st week of September. Yesterday, his spouse received an e-mail asking for Passport. So, things are running fast these days it seems.

Wanted to confirm something with you guys: Appendix B is to be filled out by my friend's spouse only, right? She is the Applicant, he is here in Canada and there is no children.

Thanks.

Hi,

Though the subject of this post is "Bangladeshi Applicants for Sponsoring Spouse Only" but I need your advice if any Bangladeshi PR holders applied for TRV or TRP for his/her newborn.

As my wife is expecting and we have plan to delivery here in Bangladesh, so appreciate if anyone can advice the detail process of TRV or TRP for newborn and how much time it takes to get the visa.

I just call VFS office Dhaka, they advised me to talk to directly Singapore Canadian High Commission office for this kind of TRV or TRP visa.

A bit confused, so appreciate you expert advice.

Bangladeshi Applicants ( Request to submit PCC after medical from Singapore)

hi gyz,

after a long time Singapore was asking me for PCC on OCT 31, 2016. I already sent the PCC and got it deliverd to SVAC yesterday. In ECAS, After "medical has been received", its says,

"We sent you correspondence on October 31, 2016. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible.
Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required."

Is there anything i sud b worried from this update or it's just a normal procedure of asking for any additional documents ?

NO you shouldn't be worried.

Update you have currently on ECAS is normal.

ECAS doesn't show any update regarding receipt of documents.

For more up-to date information you can try MYCIC.

Thanks.

So guys, I have a problem.

So my wife sent passport via vfs on Novemeber 2, now my mom is in dhaka but her flight is on the Nov.21st to come back to Toronto but i want both wife and mom to fly together. Now when do you think my wife should get her passport back, from your experiences. And if its past Nov.21st what date should i change her ticket date to. Without having to pay the penalty with the airline twice..

Bangladeshi Applicants (Journey from additional doc to PPR)

hi gyz drowning here,

Got an e-mail from Singapore asking for my UK PCC on OCT 31,2016 as i didn't submit it with my application while i applied. So I Sent that PCC to singapore on NOV 9,2016. It seems like my application is at the last stage.

So my question here,
Once the additional documents (PCC in my case) delivered to singapore, how long does it normally take to get the Passport request under my scenario ?

if anyone went through the same situation plz give a head up....

Thank you.
