Hi Everybody If any body can tell me which forms do I have to fill for spouse visa application. I have checked all the forms already but I am still not sure which forms I have to to submit in my case as I am applying from Bangladesh. For last 5 Years I am Unemployed and dependent on my husband so can I show my husbands income in form (Sponsorship Evaluation [IMM 5481]) In

Question 3. Your net personal income And for (Application to Sponsor, Sponsorship Agreement and Undertaking [IMM 1344])

as I have already mentioned that I am not employed for past 5 years now in this form can my husband be the undertaker instead of me? My husband has his own business and also employed in a pvt firm.

Another question I have is from Sponsor Questionnaire [IMM 5540] in

Question No.11: Are you currently living in Canada?

If I choose NO then these questions comes up

When do you plan to return to Canada to resume your residency?

Where do you plan to live upon your return to Canada?

Provide proof of your intention to re-establish in Canada. Attach photocopies of one or more of these following documents as applicable.

what information should I provide them because I want to get back to Canada to reside with my husband and my child together not before that. Right now its not possible for me to get any job letters from Canada or any other documents related to job or any other documents they asked like property deed, letter of acceptance by any education institution in Canada, employment contract in Canada.

I am still reviewing the forms and trying to get all the documents I need that's why I need some real help from this forum, by the look of the thread I got a pretty good vibe that I will be getting all the help I need. Thanks in advance and may Allah be with you.

Be truthful and forthcoming as much as possible. What I mean is tell them exactly as you are planning now. It is perfectly fine for you not to be working and be supported by your husband. It could help to show that you and your husband's total savings would serve you for settling in at first and then he would be looking for jobs. You can show web searches and email exchanges for jobs and accommodation rentals if possible. You can even show that you will live with a relative at first.

Just tell them at first you went back to start a family and now you've decided to come to Canada for a better future for your child and family. These are perfectly realistic and common scenarios. Include them in a separate page in a short essay format for questions that ask you for details - enter that specific form number and question number and I believe applicant/sponsor's name on the top of these extra pages.

Good luck!

Thank you all for helping me.

I Have more questions about some of the application form.
1. In form Application to Sponsor, Sponsorship Agreement and Undertaking [IMM 1344] as you guys know I am dependent on my husband, I can not be the undertaker and there is another option, I can choose a co- signer but the co-signer has to be Canadian citizen or permanent resident but my husband lives in Bangladesh and not either of them so whose information should I write in that form I am a bit confused here because the immigration officer will look for the sponsors(my) information as a undertaker of my family how do I make them understand that my husband has to be the undertaker?

2. In the document checklist in number 17 they have asked for Notice Of Assessment what is notice of assessment and how do I acquire it in Bangladesh?

Hi

1. The sponsor is the one who undertakes the agreements of sponsorship with the Canadian Government. The PA cannot do this. There is no minimum income requirement to sponsor your husband or child. You must merely lay out a plan for CIC on how you will establish and support yourselves in Canada without social assistance. The sponsor essentially agrees that neither they or the applicant being sponsored will rely on social assistance in Canada and that the sponsor will become indebted to any social assistance taken by the PA within the 36 month term and be liable to pay it back in full to the Canadian Government.

2. A notice of assessment is what the CRA sends when you file Canadian taxes. If you do not live in Canada and have not filed a Canadian tax return you will not have such document. Explain why you are unable to provide it.
