They don't normally take too much time. You should get PPR within 30-45 days but again time varies depending on the processing officer.

Hello Guyz/ Galz

Just wondering what is the Singapore office for spousal sponsorship?

Regards.

Finally my ECAS status shows "In Process" :)

Hi how many months usually it takes after "In process" to "Decision made"?

I am curious about this question.

Do we have a Timeline for Singapore Spousal Sponsorship?

Thanks.

I am not sure about the time length. I talked to my friends. they told me that it should not take more then two month. they got their PR last year.

Hi Mymensal,

It looks like your time line and my time line are exactly same. did they request for police clearance by regular mail or email. when the police clearance was issued? I am just curious. I didn't hear anything after "In Process" status.

Thanks

Dear SAMHR,
CIC Singapore has made the request by e-mail and to mail it within 30 days. The 1st police clearance was issued by BD Government in 26 Feb 2015 which was attached with the application filed to Mississauga. My best guess is police clearance expires after 6 months and that's why CIC Singapore has requested updated original police clearance. However, it depends on the immigration visa officer who is reviewing the file. Also, if CIC has e-mail address, CIC most likely will only contact by e-mail.

Thanks.

Hi SAMHR

This is an email we got from CIC Singapore.

SUBMIT REQUIRED DOCUMENTS:
Send all the documents from the list below to this office in one envelope:
1. Your sponsor in Canada must contact Citizenship and Immigration Canada's Case Processing Centre (CPC) in Mississauga, Ontario to pay the Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF)
2. Copy of passport bio-page for you (and each of your accompanying family members, if applicable).
3. Confirmation whether you are able to land in Canada before 30-Nov-2015 if your application is approved.

Now look at the 3rd point. I never saw/heard about the 3rd point.

"Confirmation of when planning to land" - Anyone else got this kind of message?

Thanks.

Hi,

My spouse's application also changed to "In Process" on 19th August, 2015. However, in the details page in eCAS the list is still the same:

1. We received your application on ....
2. Medical results have been received.

Also, I noticed one subtle thing. The mailing address changed slightly (we used my mailing address in Canada, because letters might get lost for BD addresses).

Previously it was:
xxxx xx <----there was a typo there
Street Name
City, Province
Canada
Postal Code

Now it is:
xxxx-xx Street Name
City, Province
Canada
Postal Code

Notice the formatting change, and the address is now a correct address. So, definitely they have updated the address in their system.
Is it an indication that they have dispatched a letter to my Canadian address instead of the email address? If so, should I email them to dispatch the same letter via email too? I am asking because it might take about a month for the letter to get here, and if we have to do medical and police clearance again, the sooner it can be started the better. What do you guys think?

Guys

I am planning to marry from bd. But seeing the cic website that the wait time is 30 months is scary. But what I see from this thread that the current lead time from filing the application here in Canada and getting approved in Singapore is about 8 months on average. Please correct me if i am wrong.

Guys add your timeline in Singapore spreadsheet. It will help us to know how Singapore VO is working. Ive got the link below

Dear john_petrucci,
I am not an expert on this, and therefore, IN MY OPINION, if CIC has already contacted you by e-mail for application acknowledgement letter, sponsorship approval letter, file transfer to Singapore, UCI number, then most likely, CIC will follow up with you by e-mail.

Hi iamroth,

All the points are good news for you. it looks like they are ready to finalize your application. my understanding is your medical is going to expire by November 30, 2015. If you have plan and able to land by November 30, then they will speed up the process to make sure the processing is done prior to that date. otherwise they will ask you to redo the medical exam. I hope a letter and an air ticket will work as a confirmation. hope it helps.

Regards
SAMHR
