I am not sure what the current process is, but if you are living in Dhaka, then you may go to the Office of IOM in Banani and they may tell you how the process is being handled now. They are approved Physician for Canada inmigration and they should have the form.

Anybody else who have done this please share the process if you know it.

Hello,

What is the average processing time for applicants from Bangladesh as per members on this thread ?

About 12- 14 month

If someone's case is straight forward and all documents /evidence is submitted together, then it should get completed within 15 months (assuming no interview is required and 2nd Medical / Police clearance is sent as soon as Singapore asks for)

Any update on 2014 bangladeshi applicants guys??

I applied for first set of notes on August 21 and received them today. Have a few question -

Summary of notes:

Assessments: Eligibility: Not Started; Security: Not Started; Criminality: Not Started; Medical: Passed (as of May 2014)
Eligibility Assessment 1: Status: Not Started

Notes from Mississauga says: Sponsor's first marriage, no other sponsorship on file, sponsor meets eligibility.

It also says: No biodata on back of at least one photograph of PA.

Based on this, do you guys think I am on the right track?

Also was wondering if INFO SHARING is a standard section? It says

Type: Biographic
Partner: USA
Status: NRT

Did you guys have that in your GCMS too?

I sent my spousal sponsorship application through DHL from Bangladesh, because currently I am living with my husband in Bangladesh. Today I got a text from DHL stating that my file has been delivered. So my question is how will I know that cic received my application? Will they contact us via mail? If so, how many days would it take them to inform us?

I found the spredshet for Singapore.

I applied for my spouse in Feb 2013. Missisuaga office received my application on March 1,2013. They sent my application to Singapore office on march 28,2013. Remediacl asked by Phillipines office on feb 7,2014 and done on Feb 25,2014. Additional documents asked by Singapore office on feb 14, 2014 (my daughter's birth certificate, travel documents of us, communication record for last two years). Additional documents received by Singapore visa office on March 11,2014. I also sent a letter notifying my new address. In online status I found they changed my address but my status is still "application received". Can any one please tell me what does it means?

Thanks

If you got a text from DHL stating it was delivered in the address you sent it, then why you are questioning it? You can also check DHL's website to find out when it was delivered and who signed for it. CIC usually doesn't sent out acknowledgement letter after they receive application.

I am assuming that you are a Canadian Citizen & the Sponsor of your Husband (the Sponsored Person) because only Citizens are allowed to file applications from Abroad.

After CIC receives the documents, they usually sent out an e-mail when they have reviewed the eligibility of the Sponsor (stage 1). Also, they will sent a Letter in your mailing address which is basically the same information that the e-mail contains.

After Stage 1 Approval, CIC sends the File to Singapore. Depending on the processing time, follow up letter is sent by Singapore Visa Office to the Mailing Address of the sponsored Person. The Sponsored Person (your Husband in this case) should be able to access ECAS after File is transferred to Singapore. .
