Your sponsored wife should send those to SVO through VSF, Dhaka for visa stamping. Why would they send the letter to the sponsor if your spouse is not inland applicant. Please get clarification from VSF, Dhaka. They have online agents for assistance.Toronto12345 said:I have received a reply for my email from Singapore regarding status of my wifes immigration.
This refers to your application for a Permanent Resident Visa in Canada.
We have send a letter on 23May2014 requesting for :
- IMM 5669 Schedule A
- Four (4) passport-sized photos
- Passport
My wife received envelope from singapore with all our photos back and the IMM 5669 form.
Should I wait for the letter by mail to come to Toronto or should i proceed with the forms and passport with photos via VFS in Dhaka. Please let me know. Thanks
As Hasan9999 rightly pointed out, your wife should send all documenst via VFS. You (the Sponsor) will not recieve any additional letter.Toronto12345 said:I have received a reply for my email from Singapore regarding status of my wifes immigration.

Firstly, congratulations on your good news!! I'd like to know if your marriage was arranged or you dated your spouse before getting married. Please do let me know what relationship history you mentioned on your application. Thanks.Ptbuser said:Hello All

Province of Quebec allows Fiance visa last i was updated. Please verify this info from government website. Meet the Fiance visa reason may be suspect. If your Fiance applies for a marriage permit from city hall, yes you need a marriage permit and takes 30 days or so and a medical exam is needed and she sends it over to you and your sole intention is to go to get married in canada is a very valid reason. You should also consider going to USA with your visa and ask her to come over there for marriage. If your relationship is developing and you need more time USA route will be the path of least resistance. With a marriage certificate from USA it may open up other avenues for visa processing if you stay there for a bit. NY office also takes long but spouse cases are always the fastest of all applications. It will be very very useful if you can show a very good job in BD with a history of bank transactions for remuneration. Job is almost a must for visitors visa and many independently wealthy people are routinely rejected. I do not necessarily understand all the reasoning behind these observation but it happens to real people everyday. Best of luck and my best wishes are with you.jericho said:I live in Bangladesh. I want to apply for a visit visa to meet my fiance who is a Pakistani Canadian. We were planning to get married either in Pakistan or Bangladesh, but later she told me that spouse sponsor visa will be for a long period. However if I apply for a visit visa and meet her and get married in Canada it will take less period. Now the problem is in Bangladesh the Canadian embassy doesn't give visit visa easily for the fear of staying in Canada and not return to Bangladesh. I have applied for a student visa for study in Canada but I was refused. So after that, I went to Australia for study and finished my study and came back to my country. I also have American tour visa b1/b2. I would appreciate if you give me some suggestions and options regarding what visa I should appy to meet my fiance in Canada. Thanks.
The chances are less to get a TRV from SVO. Did you ever mentioned that you have your fiancé living in Canada while applying for a student visa? Student visa generally accorded if application is strong with all necessary documents. If you never mentioned about your fiancé you can try for student visa again with strong documentation. Otherwise, as suggested by other poster you may visit USA with student visa, get married and then let your wife apply for your outland PR. Make sure that you keep record solid proofs of your relationship started from very early period leaving zero ambiguity. It is a long way to go and you must have patience.jericho said:I live in Bangladesh. I want to apply for a visit visa to meet my fiance who is a Pakistani Canadian.
