Thanks a ton my dear. :) what's next? any idea? In case of PPR is there any rule that she has to submit it from Bangladesh instead of Kuwait.
If her residential address is in Kuwait CIC will be aware of this and will likely give the option to submit to whatever VO processes PR in that region.

Thanks bud. Usually how long they take to response after medical is done? Its already been 6 months after I submit my application. Feeling kinda impatient though I know its childish. :(

It varies. I'd say roughly 4/6 weeks.

Trust me, I know about impatience lol.

I submitted in February and I'm constantly checking for emails and checking ECAS lol.

Got my first set of GCMS notes back today. It looks like most of the decision was already made at the initial viewing back in December when they noted down "Recommended WAV". I'm guessing all these delays are due to security check/verifications back and forth between SVO and Bangladesh. I am currently waiting after a remedical as well like Irfan. My chat logs were shredded prior to file transfer to SVO. Hope this helps some of you.

SVO has no control over how long the SEC/CRIM checks take as they are performed by CSIS.

Once eligibility is determined the file will be forwarded for the SEC/CRIM checks to CSIS and will effectively be placed on hold until CSIS gets back to CIC.

SVO sends re-medical (when needed) only when the SEC/CRIM checks are done & they are ready to issue visa for that person? Does it make sense?

Hi Bro,
What does it mean your chat logs were shredded before transfer? Does it mean those chat logs were not necessary at all?

I'm not exactly sure. I'm not even sure if I got the correct set of notes really. I'm assuming the chat logs were viewed and noted down before file was forwarded to SVO. I did have 300 pages of whatsapp chat log printed 2 pages per side, double sided - total of 75 sheets. And, another 30 pages of skype screenshot. Note that my SA was on Nov 27th and file transfer on Nov 30th.

(I'm trying to post a snapshot here...anyone can help me out?)

In my case, I tailored my application based on checklist only & didn't provide anything else. I guess they send re-medical only after SEC/CRIM checks are done. Is it? Is it fair if we expect PPR next? Any idea about approx. waiting time for PPR after re-medical? Plz let us know once you get the PPR so we can assume something. Thanks.

Excessive chat logs are routinely shredded at CPC-M before file transfer.

Nothing to worry about.

Keep in mind that when CIC recieves your package they then have to scan every single thing you submit. If you have A LOT of chat logs, they simply shred them and note it down in GCMS.

I also sent a lot of such communications.

And again, if your notes contain assessments of eligibility, SEC/CRIM and medical.. You have the right notes. I've ordered both sponsorship and applicant notes. The sponsor notes do not contain the assessments of the applicant.

The sponsors notes will have "sponsorship eligibility" and make no mention of medical, SEC/CRIM at all. It will also be shorter, like 12-15 pages.

What did you send for proof of relationship?
