Your step is really appreciable. Who's contacting with the venue? How many estimated members will be there? I think we must have a contact point .e.g. a person with whom everyone can call over phone. The detail address of the venue and the list of members and deadline of confirmation is needed. Added to these, the costing matter should be informed earlier.

In the spread sheet there is no column of putting the number of persons attending against a single account, so far as I know many people will accompany his/her spouse and children. The restaurant should be informed earlier about the estimated number of people.

courtesy (price) column of spreadsheet can be used. 1000/= for one person, 2000/= for you.
Regarding venue i don't think that there will be a mess right after eid vacation. To be safe side i will contact with batun rouge before friday. Incase of any problem there are lot of alternatives in the gulshan area. so, don't worry at all.
