Week 9. Over the weekend, girlfriend received an email that her application had been updated. She checked and there was no change whatsoever. Her exam orientation starts in 4 weeks and she still hasn't received a request for medical or anything.

It takes 10 weeks so this week should be it. You should hear from them. Why haven't you contacted them? Did you apply online?

Thanks - actually surprisingly yesterday she was called for the interview. Her orientation is 3 weeks after that. Wonder if after that and the medical, it will be on time? Also, how common is it to be refused after the interview?

Is she going to take an english course or going to a university?

I have read that it's faster for universities and colleges, is this true?

My friend also missed her classes of the first week because they let her wait too long!

Did she get the visa?

My application was submitted 2 weeks ago and online it is still saying 'not started'.

How long did they take to update to 'started'?
