I have got it through one the hdfc branches in manyata tech park.I had one of my accounts there. Many ppl had already approached them for it.
Initial Y, they denied to provide one. Then I was strong in my point. I told that I cannot risk my application for this simple reason from HDFC. I told them to check in their records for my outstanding payments/loans(I do not have any).
With that they convinced and gave.
I suggest you to go to your home branch and ask for it. Show them the Canada bank letter format instructions in the website and talk to them.
They Will ask you to write a letter. Provide the same.

Hi Divya.....could u please share the letter format you used? And did they give u in written the average balance in CAD conversion for last 6 months?
