Have you registered for CIIP Program? I have heard it is really very informative and helpful. I have registered myself and for my wife.

We sent our passport to LVO. But they will courier us via AD Visa Office.

Where this program going to be happened? Is it in Bahrain or outside?

The CIIP Program is for prospective immigrants and it is extremely helpful for getting settlement tips, advise etc. It also helps with job search. It is a free program from the Government of Canada. You can search for newcomerresources dot com and then register yourself. I have opted for the online/telephone delivery of the program, but you can take the physical course in select countries. Delhi is one of the option for Indians.

1. How long it would take if i apply from Abu Dhabi?
2. Iam likely to get a job there...How fast would the application be processed if i furnish an appointment letter from Canada?

Pls advise.

The new Federal Skilled Worker (FSW) category is not yet opened for application. This means that you can currently only apply, if you have an arranged employment from a Canadian Employer or you have completed your PHD. In case you have an arranged employment, your processing times are reduced and in my knowledge, you should be processed in 4-6 months.

Iam planning to apply in a weeks time and will get my conditional offer to employment hopefully in 15-20 days time (postal delays). Does that mean i can sent the basic application now and later i can submit the offer of employment letter!!

Also one more question on the photographs to be submitted. They asked us to print the name of the photography shop and my name behind each of 6 photographs...Does that mean they have to be actually printed OR can i just write them by hand. Iam not sure if its a lame question , but just want to make sure i dont make any mistakes in application.
