Backlog = Visa Rejection?? How far is this true??

Hi all,

I am Vivian Martin, currently employed at Amazon.com - Chennai, India. I am writing to you in order to en-quire whether I am eligible for the Master's Program at a university or SPP Category - Post-Graduate Certificate/Diploma in Canada.

I am applying for Fall - 2015.

My profile is listed below:

Class 10th - 85%
Class 12th - 84%
IELTS - 7.0

B.E - (Electronics and Communication Engineering) - 6.43 CGPA

My only drawback is "BACKLOGS", I'm starting to really hate that word as I can't understand what does it exactly mean.

In my total Engineering I've had 10 arrears (totally). So does that mean I have 10 backlogs? And I cleared everything during the academic year 2009-2013. And I also got my degree.

But to clear these 10 papers, some i cleared in the very next attempt and some i cleared after 2-3 attempts.. So if you count my total attempts, it will come up to 24 for these 10 "Arrears".

1. So does that mean I have 24 backlogs? or 10 Backlogs?

2. Will I get my Visa or will it be rejected?

3. Is there any hope for me? Will I get any admit from the colleges or universities?

4. Even if I get the admit, will my visa get rejected due to this backlog?

Please help me out.. I really need help urgently..

buddy its not backlog.. u need to provide or ask your college or uni to give u no backlog certificate am Lovely Uni student i have one reappear but no backlog .. so i get no backlog certificate from uni! u will able to apply and get visa for sure

Too many backlogs can be a reason for visa rejection.

I got compartment in one subject in 2nd Year of B.com, which I cleared next year with the third Year papers.
(Note: I cleared B.com from regular Delhi University college in straight 3 years without any gap year)

For SPP Visa Purpose:
1. Does the 2nd year compartment count as backlog ?
2. If no, should I also get a 'No Backlog certificate' to strengthen my visa application ?

ask your college and if there is written in the certificate given by collge that you have backlog in bla bla year then no need to attach this in SPP visa list .. you will get admission in college /uni in canada ..

Hey vivi anm .. i sugess you not to attach your backlog certificate at all with your file .. just attach degr3e dmc's and your job documents .

(Question for SPP category)

I'm going through 3rd yr BE mechanical.I had 5 backlogs(All cleared) during 1st,2nd yr.. will it be a reason for visa rejection? How many backlogs are allowed?

I applied in dec for jan and got rejected i dnt knw why? So i applied for caips note . It will shw i got rejection for ma backlogs or any other issue.

Don't think so.. I have a history of 10 backlogs in my engineering.. Although my visa got rejected it was definitely no for the backlogs.. Apply for masters..
